Contractor Horror Stories

Okay, we know that when some people hear the words “General Contractor”, they don’t think of a dream home. They think of “Horror Stories”. We live in this industry every single day so we see the craziness that happens. We’ve heard and seen the stories of disappearing acts, missed deadlines, upselling after contracts are signed and blown budgets that saturate this field every day.

Here’s the hard truth: Some of these stories are true

There are always going to be people who only look out for themselves at the expense of others. It’s not exclusive to the construction world, it’s just the world we live in. But while those slimy situations exist, we also know that good, honest, and kind people are playing on the same field. That has always been our aim, to be the good ones.

YOU are the Hero. WE are the Support.

We have a very specific philosophy about how this should work. This is NOT about us. In every great story, there is a hero and a guide. In your home renovation, YOU are the hero. We aren’t here to take the spotlight or be the “main character” of your project. We want to be the supporting act to your headline, the Yoda to your Luke.

Your home is likely the biggest investment you have ever made. It deserves to be treated with respect and you deserve to be the one in charge of your vision. We’re just the ones with the tools and the “know how” to bring your vision to life!

Help us stand out above the noise

Our goal is simple, we want to be a part of your story that is told when asked about your experience with contractors. Not because of a disaster or failure, but because it went better then you could’ve hoped for. And easily better than the horror stories you have heard.!

We want to hear your “Horror Stories” from previous projects. We want to know about the times you dealt with “over promising and under achieving”. Or stories you have from friends and family. We aren’t asking to be nosy, we just want to know where the industry is dropping the ball so we can pick it up!

Let’s Make Your Dream a Reality

At the end of the day, we want to make sure the vision in your head is the reality you actually walk into every morning. We’re here to support, listen, and prove that “contractor” doesn't have to be a bad word!Shoot us an email at hammertime@restoreandreno.com
